 Ordering

Q: This is my first time ordering online, any tips to make the process more efficient?
A: Welcome to the Bakery! We would like to recommend that you create an account with us rather than checkout as a guest. This is for convenience and ease of use for future orders as you would not have to fill in the fields all over again.
Also, to save more time, we suggest that you opt to make your shipping and delivery information the same as your billing information (this option is available on Step 2 of the order process)

Q: I have already put in an order but my order status is not reflected as "Complete". Did my order go through?
A: When an order is received successfully:
       1. You will be automatically redirected to the "Thanks for your order!" page.
       2. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided.

Q: Why is the status of my order seen as "Awaiting payment?"?
A:  All orders are immediately assigned the "Awaiting payment" status by default. Please be assured that we will start working on your order as soon as we receive it.
We will change your order status to "Awaiting collection" once it is ready for collection.

Q: How do I pay?
A: Payment is only required upon collection/delivery of your order.

Q: I need my order immediately. Is there a cash and carry option?
A: Our biscuits may usually be collected immediately. For large orders, availability depends on our inventory.
We appreciate at least 2 days of notice for mutt-loaves, birthday cakes and pupcakes as they are best consumed fresh.
However, you are most welcome to call us if you require any products urgently and we will accommodate your requests to our best ability.  


Our Products

Q: How should I store your products and what are their shelf lives?
A: The biscuits may be refrigerated for up to 2 months or frozen up to 1 year.
The meatloaves and pupcakes may be kept refrigerated for up to 3 days, but do not freeze them. We'd recommend that you store our products in air-tight containers to maintain freshness.

Q: Why are some biscuits irregularly shaped or colored?
A: All of our products are lovingly hand-made. As such, each biscuit and pupcake is unique and will not be exact replicas of one another.
We guarantee that such irregularities will not affect the quality or consistency of the treats in any way.

Q: What kind of ingredients do you use?
A: At the Barkery, we believe all pets deserve all-natural and human-grade food.
Every ingredient used has been subjected to research and testing in order to optimise or increase your pet’s well-being. We also work to minimize the use of ingredients that fall outside a canine's natural diet.
Common and nutritious ingredients we use are sardines, chickpea flour, beetroot, orange sweet potato, carob and more.
Even the colouring we use is made from scratch by us and derived from fruits and vegetables.

Q: How will I know if my pet can eat your treats?
A: All of our ingredients have been screened to ensure they are non-toxic and beneficial for doggy consumption.
However, it is the owner’s responsibility to be aware of allergies. Therefore, we suggest consulting your vet if you are unsure that your dog can safely consume our treats.

Q: My dog is allergic to some of the ingredients. May I customize my order?
A: Definitely! We are happy to cater to the special needs of your dog.
Just list your requirements in the order instructions and comments box on the Order Page when checking out OR call us.
For custom orders, the order will have to be at least one cake, 500g of biscuits OR 12 pupcakes.

Q: Do you use any artificial ingredients?
A: No we do not. No artificial preservatives, colours or ingredients are used to create our products. Our biscuits and pupcakes are all naturally coloured and flavored.
 
Q: Do you cater for dog parties?
A: Yes we do! Please check with us for information regarding our Party Packs and Party Catering options.


Collection

Q: How can I pick up my order? Do you deliver?
A: Your orders can be picked up free of charge at any of 4 pick-up points throughout Singapore: Katong, Simei, Buona Vista (Mon-Fri only) or Tanjong Rhu (only on Sundays). We request that you state your preferred pick-up location at Step 5 (Order Confirmation) of your order and we'll email/SMS you the address where your order can be collected. Pick ups from Katong or Simei can take place from 10am - 9pm. Collections from Buona Vista are only possible on weekdays during working hours.
We offer free delivery for orders above $30. If your order is below $30 and you would still like us to deliver, there will be an additional $8 delivery fee.
We will deliver within two periods during weekdays, 11am-2pm and 2-5pm. For weekends, we'll deliver between 10am -3pm. Deliveries outside the stipulated times will be subject to an $8 delivery fee.
